Willow Chiropractic
Our Mission
We believe the body is designed to adapt, heal, and thrive when it is supported. At the heart of our care is the nervous system, the living network that guides growth, resilience, and connection at every stage of life. Just as the willow bends and grows stronger through the storm, we honor the body’s natural ability to adapt in pregnancy, in childhood, and across families. Our mission is to serve our community with education, intention, and compassion, supporting each individual through nervous system focused, heart led care. We are committed to empowering families to grow strong, move freely, and live resiliently, rooted in wellness, guided by connection, and grounded in hope.

Dr. Sam utilizes techniques including Thompson, Diversified, Activator, Craniosacral, and Tonal methods to tailor care to each individual. She is certified in the Webster Technique through the ICPA and has pursued advanced training in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic, allowing her to confidently support women through pregnancy and children through every stage of development. More About Us
Our Philosophy
We believe the body was created with wisdom and intention. It is not a collection of separate parts, but an interconnected, dynamic system constantly adapting to the world around it. Within each of us lives an innate intelligence that coordinates healing, growth, and function from the inside out. Life places stress on the body in many forms. Physical strain, chemical stressors, and emotional tension can overwhelm the system and reduce adaptability. When this happens, communication between the brain and body may become disrupted, and we begin to see changes in energy, movement, immune resilience, and overall well-being. Our role is not to “fix” the body. It is to support it. Through specific, nervous system-focused chiropractic adjustments, we work to reduce interference and restore clear communication between the brain and body. When that communication improves, the body is better able to regulate, repair, and function the way it was designed to. In addition to chiropractic care, we offer Advanced Laser Therapy and therapeutic bodywork. Laser technology works at the cellular level, gently stimulating natural repair processes and encouraging tissue healing without force or medication. Rather than overriding the body, it supports its own regenerative capacity. In the same way, therapeutic massage helps reduce physical tension and allows the nervous system to shift out of stress and into restoration. Though the tools differ, the philosophy remains the same. We believe healing comes from within. Our job is to remove interference, provide support, and create an environment where your body can do what it was created to do. At Willow, we are here to walk alongside you and your family as you reconnect with the innate healer already within you.
Our 6 Guiding Beliefs
What We Believe
At Willow Chiropractic, our care is rooted in a simple belief: the body was created with wisdom. These values shape the way we serve, support, and walk alongside our community.
- 1. Innate Intelligence
- We believe your body carries a quiet, built-in wisdom. It is constantly working to protect, adapt, and restore balance. Our role is to honor that intelligence and support it with intention.
- 2. Healing From the Inside Out
- Healing is not something we give you. It is something your body already knows how to do. By reducing interference and supporting the nervous system, we create space for that healing to unfold naturally.
- 3. Root Cause Over Symptom Management
- Symptoms are often signals, not the source. We gently look deeper to understand patterns of stress and imbalance so that care can be meaningful and lasting.
- 4. Whole-Person Care
- You are not a collection of parts. Your structure, stress, movement, emotions, and environment all influence one another. We care for the whole person with thoughtfulness and respect.
- 5. Family-Centered Care
- We believe strong families begin with supported nervous systems. From pregnancy and childhood through every season of life, we are honored to care for families as they grow.
- 6. Education and Empowerment
- We believe understanding builds confidence. Our hope is that you leave not only feeling better, but feeling more connected to your body and empowered in your health journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Willow Chiropractic different from other Minot clinics?
We are a nervous system–centered practice rooted in vitalistic principles. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at how stress may be affecting communication between the brain and body. Our goal is to remove interference and support the body’s natural ability to adapt and heal. Every service we offer, from chiropractic to laser therapy and bodywork, reflects this philosophy.
Do you accept insurance?
Dr. Sam will be accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield and Sanford Health plans. Coverage varies depending on your specific policy, so we recommend contacting our office for benefit verification prior to your visit. We also offer self-pay options and will clearly review your financial responsibility before beginning care.
Do you see Medicare patients?
Our office is currently not authorized to provide chiropractic or dry needling services to Medicare-aged patients. However, Medicare patients are welcome to receive massage therapy and Advanced Laser Therapy services at Willow. If you have questions about eligibility or coverage, our team is happy to help clarify your options.
Who would benefit from Advanced Laser Therapy?
Advanced Laser Therapy can benefit individuals experiencing acute injuries, chronic tension patterns, inflammation, or delayed tissue healing. Because it works at the cellular level to support natural repair processes, it can be helpful for a wide range of concerns. Patients often seek laser therapy for: • Acute sprains or strains • Tendon or ligament irritation • Joint discomfort • Muscle tightness or trigger points • Sports-related injuries • Chronic pain or inflammation • Post-surgical healing support • Scar tissue support • Plantar Fasciitis Laser therapy is especially helpful for those who want a noninvasive, medication-free option to support recovery. It is comfortable, gentle, and works by stimulating cellular energy production, improving circulation, and encouraging tissue repair.
Can my baby and/or child be adjusted?
YES! Dr. Sam recommends that all babies have their nervous systems assessed after birth. Birth, even in its most beautiful form, is a source of trauma and stress for both mom and baby. Many health challenges that show up in adulthood can often be traced back to one’s childhood- including their birthing experience. This is especially the case if additional medical intervention was required. This can cause interruptions with the nerve signal flow from the brain to the body and back. These disruptions can then interfere with childhood development, and can be a cause for developmental delay. Dr. Sam will often see babies and children that have benefited significantly from the removal of subluxation that have caused multiple symptoms such as: growing pains, difficulty sleeping, behavioral changes, ADHD, bedwetting, plagiocephaly, headaches, constipation, difficulty latching, colic, torticollis, ear infections, and more. Dr. Sam uses a very gentle pressure to adjust infants and small children that can be compared to the pressure you would use to check a tomato for ripeness at the grocery store. She also utilizes cranial and visceral work with the littles.
Can I get adjusted while pregnant?
YES! Dr. Sam is certified in Webster’s technique which is what she specifically utilizes for her pregnant practice members. Webster's technique is a gentle chiropractic adjustment that removes subluxation from the lower back and pelvis and incorporates a soft tissue release of associated muscle groups. It allows the pelvis to function properly during pregnancy. This technique also reduces soft tissue tension that may be causing uterine torsion. By balancing the pelvic bones, nerves, muscles, and ligaments it allows for harmony within the mother, and an ideal environment for baby to grow and move. The mothers that have seen Dr. Sam for care before, during, and after their pregnancies have reported: relief in their middle and lower back pain, feelings of balance and comfort, shorter labor times, decreased nausea/heartburn, lower rates of forceps use and vacuum extractions, optimal baby positioning, decreased round ligament pain, quicker healing post-partum and increase in milk supply.
Testimonials
Patient Reviews
I can’t recommend Dr. Sam enough! I started seeing her during my first trimester, and she truly made a huge difference in my pregnancy experience. From the very beginning, she provided thoughtful care, support, and guidance that helped me stay comfortable and confident throughout each stage.
In those final, more challenging weeks, her advice and treatments were especially helpful in easing discomfort and helping me feel prepared for delivery. After my baby was born, I continued care with Dr. Sam and even brought my newborn in as well. Her gentle approach and expertise made me feel completely at ease.
One of the most impactful parts of our experience was how she helped support our breastfeeding journey. By working with my baby, she helped improve her latch, which made a world of difference for both of us.
Now, we both continue to see Dr. Sam regularly to support our overall wellness and keep our bodies feeling their best. She has been an essential part of our health journey, and I truly believe she played a major role in making my pregnancy and postpartum experience so positive.
I recommend her 100 times over to any expecting mom or parent considering care for themselves or their children!
